How To Use A Tea Infuser
The tea infuser was first used in the 19th century by the English.
Together with the cast iron teapot, the tea infuser has been helping tea merchants and tea lovers to produce
flavorful brewed teas in the region. It gained its popularity because of its unprecedented functionality of
producing pure tea without the leftover leaves. It is also more preferred that the traditional teabags, since it
can be used all over again unlike the teabags which have limited use and are messy.
Tea is one of the most popular drinks around the world. From the ancient days of the Chinese to
the modern days of every Americans, tea has been a vital beverage for centuries. With its rise to world popularity,
different equipments have been involved and developed for this beloved drink. A perfect example is the teapot,
which has evolved into many kinds as per regions - like the porcelain teapots, the aluminum teapots, the glass
teapots, and even the cast iron teapots. Aside from the different
vessels where in tea leaves are brewed, a specific gadget has been invented to carefully hold the tea leaves while
it is brewing. This simple gadget is made from any material that can hold the leaves without altering the purest
flavor of the tea which is the tea infuser.
A typical tea infuser can be found all around the globe. From specialty
stores to health food stores, and even the grocery, you can see a glimpse of this simple yet useful gadget. No
one will ever feel a scarcity of this device since tea has been a very popular and beloved drink until now. Use
it with your favorite cast iron kettle, and for sure you will be enjoying the best cup of tea in your life.
This little device has taken different shapes and sizes but typically this infuser is
egg-shaped, made from stainless steel, and is foldable and has holes to drain the remaining brewed tea from the
leaves. Due to its recognition, it has also been used to produce fruit flavored teas all around the world.
Using a tea infuser is as simple as making a juice. First you brew a
tea with the leaves in the tea infuser, then remove the leaves from the brew after attaining the perfect blend
of tea. Next place a handful or so or fruits to the tea infuser and put back the infuser to your teapot- or in
my case, to my cast iron teapot. Let the flavors of the fruits sip and blend in with the tea. After that,
remove the tea infuser, and enjoy the best cup of tea. Different kinds of fruits can be used to flavor the tea.
It can be apples, oranges, lemons, or any fruits you can ever think about. Just remember to have the perfect
