Cast Iron Tea Kettles: Perfect For Making Irish Tea!
Using a cast iron tea kettle, you can have one of the most
enjoyable beverages known as “cuppa” or a cup of Irish tea, in no time. Prepare your Irish tea and serve
it with creamy milk and definitely your family will enjoy and love this. Nevertheless if you don’t know
how to prepare an Irish tea then this article will absolutely help you a lot. Indeed not only you will enjoy
drinking tea but it is also good in your health especially if you are having problem on digestion.
You need to have your cast iron tea kettle , wash it to make sure that it is clean, and then fill it with fresh and clean water. Pour water
until it is on the right level but do not overflow it as you might hurt it once it is boiling. Place your cast
iron kettle on the stove open the burner on a medium low.
Once the water is hot pour a little amount to your cast iron tea kettle . Swirl it around in your pot and then discharge the water. After that do the same process with
your tea cups as this will allow them to keep warm longer. This will make your tea drinking warmer since the
pot and cups absorb more the hot water. Wait for the water to the boiling point then turn off your burner,
make sure not to over boil water as it might affect the taste of your tea.
You can either pour your milk or honey first before adding the hot water and tea leaves or tea
bags. It doesn’t matter, whichever is okay as long as that is what you prefer. Once you have your hot
water, you can easily place your Irish tea bags in it. Nevertheless you can also put it instead on your
cast iron tea kettle, but make sure that you will put enough tea leaves or tea bags. If you already have hot
water in your tea cup then you can leave your tea bags for about three to five minutes. Let it stay there and
allow it to emit the aroma and the taste of your tea leaves. Stir and let it steep for another minute or so.
However keep in mind not to let the tea leaves and tea bags for more than seven minutes as it might taste
bitter.
You probably see these on movies, a refined and cultured group of women having a lovely tea in
the morning. Preparing a tea is not that easy in some country, it is part of their culture so they make sure
to prepare this the right way. It takes an hour for them, especially in Japan where it comes to their tea ceremony
also known as the “Way of Tea”.
Have your cast iron
teapot and enjoy your Irish tea with some sweet cookies or cakes. This will definitely change
your morning ritual or your siesta. Tea drinking is definitely a good alternative to your other beverage
like coffee and juice.
